Intermediate School Additions & Renovations

South Fayette Township School District

DRAW is currently working with the School District to design carefully planned additions and upgrades to address the District’s growing enrollment and evolving educational needs. The school’s original design anticipated future expansion, ensuring these additions could seamlessly integrate into the existing school building when necessary.

Design for the project includes a new three-story classroom wing, a three-story classroom corner expansion, and conversion of an outdoor patio area into a dedicated orchestra space.

Planning for the project began in 2024, with design reviews presented to the School Board in late summer. Bidding is scheduled to start by early 2026 and construction is anticipated to begin in Spring 2026.

The expansion will serve grades 3-5 students by providing additional classroom capacity and enhancing educational spaces. These improvements are designed to enrich the student experience and align with the District’s commitment to fostering an exceptional learning environment.
