Middle School Renovations

Mars Area School District

The Mars Area Middle School was in need of updates to convert the building into a modern facility aligned with the district’s education goals. The budget for the project was critical and DRAW worked closely with the construction managers to balance the design with the budget goals. The classroom wings were converted into “houses” that served each grade level independently. The technology education wing was updated to provide a focus on hands-on learning and robotics. A large LGI space was created for flexibility to serve both large and small groups. Throughout the building, the finishes were updated and utilized the school colors.
