Knoch High School Renovations and Additions
Designing for Student Engagement
DRAW designed the expansion and renovation of Knoch School District High School to feature a bright, distinct new entrance. As part of the addition, the team created a large, multipurpose student commons with collaborative learning areas and cafeteria seating after relocating the original cafeteria. In addition, DRAW added new technology education classrooms equipped with proper ventilation, high-tech machinery, 3D printers, and robotics equipment to support hands-on learning.
At the same time, the team significantly improved the science classrooms and labs by fully reconfiguring and enlarging them. The new design increases instructional space and provides much-needed storage.
As construction progressed, DRAW repurposed the former cafeteria into a new Wellness Center. This space supports physical education classes, the athletics department, and community use after school hours. It includes weights, treadmills, fitness equipment, a small track, and a centrally located private group fitness area.
Beyond the building itself, DRAW also completed improvements to the school’s stadium by installing a new field surface and entrance and adding new tennis courts.
The team finished the interior renovations and additions in September 2025, just in time for the 2025–2026 school year.
